It’s hard to believe,  but next year will be the BIG “50” REUNION and we plan to “do it up” with a great reunion planned by all of YOU!!!

 Now is the time to send us your thoughts, ideas, wishes, etc. about the reunion YOU want in 2009!!!  We want this one to be the BEST  REUNION yet.  Tell us the time of year you like and the events you want.   My e-mail is gcyork1020@sbcglobal.net.  Let me hear from you or write any of the folks in Fort Worth – everyone will be helping with this GREAT EVENT!!

 We have had a generous offer from Sue Braswell Dunivan’s daughter and son-in-law.  They are going  to put together a slide show/movie presentation taken from all our old photos and movies, so please start digging and send your memorabilia to Sue at her e-mail (Sue_Dunivan @yahoo.com) or by mail – 2312 Cherry Sage Drive, Arlington, TX  76001-8445.  All your valuable photos will be returned to you as soon as they have been reproduced.   This project will take a lot of time so please send your info NOW!!!!  Sue will guard your photos and make sure they get back to you.

 Thanks to the VERY hard work of Carolyn Collins Brumbaugh we have an awesome list of addresses and e-mails to get out our info to everyone.  Please contact Carolyn  if you move or change e-mail addresses – send the info to carolynbb@charter.net or mail it to 1213 Juniper Lane, Fort Worth 76126-2709.

 Aren’t we blessed to still have contact with so many of our classmates?  Some of us have known each other since elementary school.  This is amazing and totally wonderful.   You know an updated directory is posted on our website every few months – check it out at www.phs59.org.    

 Please let us hear from you about the 50^th.  It’s YOUR reunion and we want it to be the best yet.

 Hey Everyone - We're "gearing up" for next year's BIG event.  Please save the attachment so you'll know how to get in touch with the Fort Worth people who will be working on the reunion.  And, PLEASE respond with your ideas!!!

 You might be interested in  looking at the website for the Vagabond Players at PHS - they are going to Scotland and are looking for donations to pay for the trip........... www.phsvagabonds.com/support.htm.    Many of us were participants in this during our days at PHS.

 Also, I'm sure you remember Linda Kaye who was in our class and later went on to TCU.  Linda died late last year and there is a wonderful tribute to her life in the TCU Alum Magazine at www.magazine.tcu.edu. 

 As you know, for several years we have been getting together on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.  We have changed the location of that get together to Pappas Burgers on I-30.  We're there at 6 p.m. and have a private room at the back.  Please join us if you get the chance and DON'T feel bad if you don't recognize everyone - we may not recognize you either!!!  We're all in the same boat on that one so just come in and tell us who you are and we'll all get introduced.

 The PHS '59 girls meet for lunch on the first Tuesday of each month (location is different each time).  If you would like to be added to the reminder list about lunch, just drop me an e-mail.

 Even though the PHS '59 website doesn't always have the latest info (the guy who does it is retired and almost gives us his services!) the one thing that is up to date is the directory so that's the way to get in touch with your fellow classmates - it's www.phs59.org.
